
Lufkin manufactures some of the best oilfield pumping equipment in the world, but was faced with competition from overseas competitors that offered lower priced, but lower quality alternatives. Lufkin asked Six Foot for a presentation that would help the sales team remind field operators about the competitive advantage of the Lufkin brand —an uncompromising quality that led to reduced maintenance costs and avoided costly production delays and safety issues due to inferior well equipment.
The result was a 3D animated sales tool that could run in either an unattended looped mode or a sales-team driven, menu-based format so customer questions and comments could be quickly addressed. The project combined 3D motion graphics of the Lufkin conventional pumping unit. The components could be individually selected for closer inspection so operators could see the quality Lufkin has built its business upon.
